Dropbox Slashes Prices, Adds Passwords for Shared Links

Dropbox announced they’re significantly increasing the storage space on their paid plans.

The 100GB, 200GB, and 500GB teirs will now be replaced by a single 1 terabyte plan for $9.99/month.

They’re also adding several new features:

  • Passwords for shared links
  • Expiration dates on shared links
  • Custom folder permissions (such as view-only)
  • Remote wipe, to delete files on a lost or stolen computer
