How We Review

Most reviews go through a similar process, testing for things such as:

  • Ease of use
  • Speed, during backup and restore
  • Security; how good the encryption is, and whether a private encryption option is offered
  • Responsiveness of technical support
  • How the service compares to others (see our head-to-head comparisons)
  • CRC error checks, to ensure data integrity after being restored

We also regularly communicate with companies, to further our own understanding of their products, and pass on this knowledge to you.
