I bought a new hard drive recently. My old hard drive, a 6 year old Seagate, was feeling a bit cramped with “only” 1.5 TB of space. Disk image backups take up a lot of space, and this was my primary backup device.
SugarSync is a file synchronization, backup, and cloud storage service. It’s like Dropbox, but it lets you sync any folder on your hard drive. This is a review of version 3, which introduces a new interface.
Update: DrivePop has shut down as of March 2015, although they continue to accept new customers. Do not sign up for this service. DrivePop is an online backup service that includes cloud storage and file sharing features.
